Donald’s neutering surgery went without a hitch and he’s back with us to recover.
For a while this morning we thought we might have to cancel his appointment. When animals will be undergoing general anesthesia they are not allowed to eat for 12 hours before the procedure. So, of course, Donald didn’t get any breakfast this morning. While I was cooking our breakfast Donald jumped on the counter and stole some food when my back was turned. Luckily, he only got a small amount, so he was able to have his surgery today anyway.
The current plan is for Donald and Daisy to return to CCHS and be available for adoption next Wednesday. I will post an update when the plan is finalized.
