Today we welcome Lola, a seven-year old Labrador mix and her eight three-week old puppies. Lola is an unclaimed stray who was transferred to the Champaign County Humane Society from animal control. She’s very nice and I think we’re going to enjoy having her around. The puppies are in very good shape. Lola’s been going an excellent job feeding them and keeping them clean. Their eyes are opening and they’re getting pretty mobile. It won’t be too long before we have to let them out of the whelping box. Each pup has a unique color pattern.
